Panbesy & Garbaslim to the rescue. And Vitamin D to lose weight effortlessly :))

By the end of Feb I was seriously bloated & feel kinda down. The Feb celebrations were really harmful to hot bods like ours ....lol...  So I quickly gather my gal pals & went to pay Dr Keith a well deserved visit.

Have not been to the clinic for a while. That has got to do with our will power to resist anything Fattening. Its not as difficult as you might think. Once a while if we over eat, we'll just go on GarbaSlim (the fat burner) for a couple of days, & that'll fixed it. But Feb is a terrible month: Valentine's Day followed by Luna new year! The celebrations, gatherings & eating just don't seem to end !

Anyway, once in the clinic, we quickly got our supplies of panbesy, more garbaslim, also a few pills to get rid of water retention, Kara even had the Vitamin D jab.

Then the stress thing came up, what's good for stress?  Kara read somewhere Omega-3 fatty acids can lower stress levels. It apparently reduce stress-promoting inflammation. Hmmm.... so we got some from Dr Keith too. We left .... Happy. Nick-named it the chill-pill haha...

Now 2 weeks later: Panbesy & Garbaslim is as usual very reliable, I've gotten rid of all the weight I've gained since Feb. Kara is doing very well too. The Vitamin D jab is seriously effective or her:))
As for the Omega-3 chill-pill, I'll be going back to Dr Keith for more, end of the month. I've been sleeping better since I took it daily.

Here's DR Keith Ong's contact for those of you who are interested!

Awesome jobs with great pay & flexibility

"What happen to your blog?" Jamie asked me that the other day.  " Why don't you blog more often ?? Review more things from food to movies etc ..." The truth is, I meant to then I thought, what's the point?  My gibberish really makes sense only to me, anyway. But writing helps.  Even if the only purpose it serves is to get the nonsense out of my head. So let me update you on what I've been up to during my unplanned hiatus.

The other day I went to the dental clinic without an appointment & guess what, no dentist is around. So I learn, you need to book an appointment for that. But isn't that funny? The clinic is open , the receptionist is there & there's not even a single dentist, I just cant get that around my head. But there's like more than 4 dentists listed in that clinic. They don't operate like the normal GP/doctor who has to be around all the time. I can't imagine having a sudden life threatening toothache & can't find any dentist at all!

Come to think of it, being a dentist is really not bad! Say you have no appointment for the day , you can go on long lunches, & coffee breaks, play goal, or even not come to work for the day. But my friend said these dental clinics usually have a few dentists registered there. They are mobile as in, they don't work only in 1 clinic but several clinics. So when ever there's an appointment in any of these clinics, they go. I still don't quite get the whole logistics BUT still.... it seems great ...lol..

I should have become a dentist !The flexibility, mobility & pay suits me :))

Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen @ MBS

Have you seen Gordon Ramsay's cooking program? Even if you have not, I'm quite sure you would have heard of him. His fame as a celebrity chef & TV personality is pretty in your face. He's everywhere, even in Singapore. He has set up the Bread Street Kitchen at MBS in 2015.

When ever I visited MBS, I'll pass by the restuarant , peek in & tell myself must try it next. I'm pretty curious if it's good. And always I forget about it whenever it's time to look for a place for food.

Then 2 weeks ago, once again we were as usual thinking of where to go for lunch. Then Josh, our new colleague suggested Bread Street Kitchen, & I immediately go "why not?" But the rest were not so enthusiastic. Finally they gave in. This is part of the wonderful meal. The staff are pretty attentive & nice. And will I go again? Yes I would.

I had this, love it

Josh had this, I love how they place the chips in that small tub, it's too cute ...lol..
The salmon is not so good, but the chicken is :)

Nice generous serving of bread & butter

Ah Mah Homemade Sponge Cake at Jcube

A week ago one of my colleague (Kate) brought 2 cakes to work. It's like a norm for us to bring something special, once a while. Usually when we came back from vacation. According to Kate, she saw this Queue for these cakes & she just join it out of curiosity ...lol.. She has to queue for half an hour. Wow we were impressed, it better be good. Yes it's Ah Mah's Homemade Sponge cake!

We tried it & it's good. We had the chocolate & cheese cakes. I especially like the cheese cake. Kate bought hers from JCube, Jurong East. They have other branches now At VivoCity, Bukit Panjang Plaza & Paya Lebar Square.

Japanese fashion label CUNE

I love Japan & it's fashion. Have you heard of Hironori Yasuda & his label CUNE?  The super creative guy started CUNE in 1994.
Yasuda don't care about what's hot this season & the latest trends. He makes what he wants, and each season he picks a seemingly arbitrary theme, one that typically has no place in the world of fashion, and designs his entire collection around it. He doesn’t think about who would wear his clothes, or how they would wear them. In fact, he even says “you don’t have to buy them.” But with two stores in Tokyo, one in Fukuoka and a thriving online shop, people seem to like his bizarre creations.

2016 – raw meat in the sky

His most recent collection last year was all about raw meat and a blue sky. We’re not entirely sure what those two things have in common, but we’ve learned not to ask. So there you have it.

2013 A/W – cabbage

2013 the designer debuted a collection inspired by cabbage. Specifically, the core – that part you have to awkwardly cut out because it’s too hard to chew. Isn't that cute ?

Skinny jeans with frills ?

I'm not sure, but I think everyone would have at least a pair of skinny jeans. Most would have a dozen if I'm not wrong. And that's me. I've 5 pairs in blue, 4 in black, 1 in white, 1 in green & 1 in pink. You just can't go wrong with them. You can dress them down or up, so convenient. However not everything works with jeans.

The other day I was in town & I saw a girl wearing this.Yes they are frills or lace with the skinny jeans. Yes it's pretty weird. I tried taking a pic, but I thought I better try getting one online, for privacy reasons. Found it !

They just don't go together, what you think? My friends couldn't stop laughing when they saw it. People would just wear anything these days I guess! It could be cute on a small kid but an adult ?
