Square Jaw reduction with Botox- Dr Keith Ong @ Parsons Medical Singapore

Today I went for my  review of the square jaw reduction treatment by Botox- I did the procedure last month. Well if you are wondering  why I do it,  you probably don’t have a huge square jaw !
For me I’m like super duper self conscious of how it make me look!  I look almost masculine with an oversize square jaw. I have to dress very girly all the time to counteract that effect.....ugh!!!!


Some friends from work recommended me to see Dr Keith Ong, they swear by him:)
When I got there I realize why, he’s so NICE! Felt like talking to a friend which is kinda weird,  I could have stayed there & talk shop with him more if it’s not for some people waiting outside :)

As for the procedure last month, I felt very little discomfort (thank God…hahha….) , almost like a normal jab. 3 on each side & it’s over before I know it. Best thing is, there’s  no down time!

In case you are interested, Improvement is gradual, so no one will know you did something if you don't tell (... I didn't!!!). 

Now 1 month later, I look like a different person. My face looks slimmer, everyone commented that I slim down- it’s really funny! They all forgot I got a square jaw before, & thought I look great after “ I slim down”  !!!!!!!  

Hilarious right? I really should have done it years ago.

    Hi do you think Bernice Lui had this procedure? You know who she is? The Hong Kong actress & Miss HK I think. She used to have really sq jaws. She's so perfect expect for that sq jaws. But she claimed she slimmed down that's why she looks different.

    But I don't think so as she was already quite slim when she was actively filming & still it's there. Now it's completely gone!I also don't think she went for surgery as she looks wonderful, such surgery wont heal so well right? Plus she always in the lime light! So I guess it's botox lor :)

      Now she looks better, I also think she does this botox thingie. But it's ok with me, I like her.

      Hi Giselle, I have sq jaws too, damn broad as well, thinking of doing it. But I heard not everyone is suitable right? So how does it work? How we know whether we are suitable?

      Hi XXX, You need to see the doctor & he'll assess if you are suitable or not. But If I'm not wrong, if the problem lies with the actual bone structure then cannot use botox.

      Thank Goodness with many people (myself included) it's not the bone, I think it's muscle or something like that, then the botox, will help to reduce the size! Which means we don't have to go for any drastic & expensive surgery:)

      I'm feeling my jaws now, don't think it's bone, so I can do right? I really hated it.
      I have long hair just to "try" hiding this big jaws. But no use as I end up tying my hair most of the time, as it's hot!
      Cant wait to get rid of it!

      Ya that's the thing, hair can only cover very little & not most of the time. I suggest you go check it out the DR Keith. He's great! :)

    Hi Giselle , got your link from another blog. Interesting account. I'm interested too. My face is not really square but still considered BROAD!!!! Always wish I could do something about it! This is the first time I heard of such a thing! Seriously, I'm quite interested! :)

      You can go for a consult with my doctor for starters- see what he says. He can do it for you right away & within 2-3 weeks you'll look great!

      Yes in fact someone I know, just did that.
      She's not fat, but has this double chin thingie.
      I brought her to Dr Keith & he botox the area.
      Within like a week her whole face looks slim.
      The effect is really good! I recommend that totally !!!!

      About 6-12 months. For me even after 8 months, it's still smaller than my original jawline. Anyway I intend to go back for touch-up end of tis mth- getting ready for Christmas & CNY.
      The effect is a smaller face :))

      It's between 500- 800.
      I did it 3weeks ago & paid $600- for mine.

      Need to check with you ladies who has done it, I did it at Dr Keith's Yishun Clinic, do you think I can go see him in Orchard for the review? Haha... more convenient after shopping :)
