We hate Mondays

I don't know how it got started. But I received a "Hate List" from a colleague. What's a hate list? It's a list of things you hated & you send it to your friends for fun. Then you are suppose to send back with your own list, or just add onto the group chat if you are in one. However not everyone will participate, Some just reply " boring" or "you are very free is it?" ....lol...

The first list I received was from Cora (our very young new colleague):
Top Hates:
-Answering calls
-Talking
-wearing dresses
(it's pretty funny considering she has to do all these things at work)

Joe my good friend from the same department in the bank
-other people's money
-clients
-Monday, tuesday, wed, thursday & friday !

Boss's favourite staff
-doing nothing
-gossiping
-Mondays

Mine
-Mondays
-group chats
-any kind of lists

Noticed, how almost  everyone hates Mondays ...lol...

Forecast for today, you'll find LOVE in Singapore !!!

Jess my friend has this apps which gives her a daily forecast, like a daily horoscope. She's totally addicted to it now. She claim it's spot on most of the time. Yesterday morning she texted me at 7am, with the day's forecast: It forecast :
(You will meet someone, a new love. If you are married you must be cautious & draw a line.)

I text back:
(What? you believe this shit?)
(Yes, Very excited, I'm going to wear my favorite dress to work! CU!!!)

So that's it. Saw her in the office a while later, & sure enough, she looked gorgeous! So now we wait, for the miracle. 12 noon, nothing happened. Her spirits was not dampen, not a single bit. We went lunch, & she insisted we spurge & go to a swanky place. Better class of people there, she reasoned ...lol... OK, I'm all for it. We didn't reserve so had to queue outside for a while.

Like a miracle, 5 minutes later a guy appeared behind us & ask if we had waited for long. We turned & looked at him & I could have swear Jess's mind was going- "I've been waiting for you since this morning's forecast" ...lol... He's tall, well dressed, slight accent very charming. He's with another guy almost as cute. He was just wondering how's the queuing time like. Jess started flirting with him, & in no time, we have invited them to join us at our table. Sure enough, within a minute, we got our table. The staff was nice, yes they can give us a table for 4.

So..... do I believe in that daily forecast apps? You bet I do now!

Love is in the Air ...lol...

The Caltex incident: BMW series 5 driver vs elderly Caltex pump attendant

Have you read about that Caltex incident? The one where a guy allegedly named Freddy Foong driving a BMW Series 5, claimed that an elderly pump attendant had mistakenly filled up his car with $135 worth of gas when he only wanted $10- ....lol....

I guess he bullied the attendant & possibly the Caltex staff, so pump attendant said he would absorb the $125- , upon which Freddy Foong walked away smugly.

We would never know of this story if not for Ms Kelly Yeo!
Thank You very much Kelly! We need more people like you, who'll report such society ills. These bullies need be called out, so that they'll think twice the next time they tried to bully or cheat again.

As for smug BMW guy, please don't do it again. You have brought much shame to your family. You deserve it, but not your poor family.

Panbesy & Garbaslim to the rescue. And Vitamin D to lose weight effortlessly :))

By the end of Feb I was seriously bloated & feel kinda down. The Feb celebrations were really harmful to hot bods like ours ....lol...  So I quickly gather my gal pals & went to pay Dr Keith a well deserved visit.

Have not been to the clinic for a while. That has got to do with our will power to resist anything Fattening. Its not as difficult as you might think. Once a while if we over eat, we'll just go on GarbaSlim (the fat burner) for a couple of days, & that'll fixed it. But Feb is a terrible month: Valentine's Day followed by Luna new year! The celebrations, gatherings & eating just don't seem to end !

Anyway, once in the clinic, we quickly got our supplies of panbesy, more garbaslim, also a few pills to get rid of water retention, Kara even had the Vitamin D jab.

Then the stress thing came up, what's good for stress?  Kara read somewhere Omega-3 fatty acids can lower stress levels. It apparently reduce stress-promoting inflammation. Hmmm.... so we got some from Dr Keith too. We left .... Happy. Nick-named it the chill-pill haha...

Now 2 weeks later: Panbesy & Garbaslim is as usual very reliable, I've gotten rid of all the weight I've gained since Feb. Kara is doing very well too. The Vitamin D jab is seriously effective or her:))
As for the Omega-3 chill-pill, I'll be going back to Dr Keith for more, end of the month. I've been sleeping better since I took it daily.

Here's DR Keith Ong's contact for those of you who are interested!

Awesome jobs with great pay & flexibility

"What happen to your blog?" Jamie asked me that the other day.  " Why don't you blog more often ?? Review more things from food to movies etc ..." The truth is, I meant to then I thought, what's the point?  My gibberish really makes sense only to me, anyway. But writing helps.  Even if the only purpose it serves is to get the nonsense out of my head. So let me update you on what I've been up to during my unplanned hiatus.

The other day I went to the dental clinic without an appointment & guess what, no dentist is around. So I learn, you need to book an appointment for that. But isn't that funny? The clinic is open , the receptionist is there & there's not even a single dentist, I just cant get that around my head. But there's like more than 4 dentists listed in that clinic. They don't operate like the normal GP/doctor who has to be around all the time. I can't imagine having a sudden life threatening toothache & can't find any dentist at all!

Come to think of it, being a dentist is really not bad! Say you have no appointment for the day , you can go on long lunches, & coffee breaks, play goal, or even not come to work for the day. But my friend said these dental clinics usually have a few dentists registered there. They are mobile as in, they don't work only in 1 clinic but several clinics. So when ever there's an appointment in any of these clinics, they go. I still don't quite get the whole logistics BUT still.... it seems great ...lol..

I should have become a dentist !The flexibility, mobility & pay suits me :))
